Oooh Guadalajara was so so so good! It's a small shack and didn't have a menu at the time, but from what I can recall they had their standard options of meat, and you could choose from options such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, etc.

Portions were huge and food was delicious. It's also one of the few places that doesn't cost an arm and a leg on Maui, so it's a great place for those on a budget.

My food was great! The chicken was grilled perfectly and I was happy with my tacos.

The girl behind the counter needs to work on her people skills I know that it's late and almost closing time but dang a smile and a little better attitude would have been nice.

However I did not stop the tacos from being straight up delicious !! I have a chicken street tacos and they impressed me until the very last bite.

My Hubby ordered the Horchata and that was great too I can't drink too much of Horchata because It has a good bit of sugar in it but it, still was delicious! This is definitely a spot I would recommend and I for sure will be back when I go to Maui again. I'm sure during the day When  it's not so close to closing the staff has a better attitude.

We were pretty excited to try this taco spot since we have so many good places back in the bay (California) and wanted to compare our taco trucks to theirs.

Prices were on the higher end; with tacos starting at $4 and burritos at $10. We spent around $90 for tacos and one burrito. That's more expensive than California Bay Area prices  no biggie, we're on vacation so we expected to pay a little more.

But when we got our tacos, we went to the condiments table next to the cashier and there were no condiments in site. NOT EVEN SAUCE! We asked one of the guys a few times if they could restock and they were kinda ignoring us? He finally cut up a lime for us after we asked more than three times. But still no condiments such as cilantro or pickled carrots/jalapeños etc. when we got our burrito someone in our group asked why there were no condiments , they just said "my bad..." and walked away.

We were DEFINITELY disappointed. This is not the way that customers should be treated. They were still serving customers and a lot of people were getting pissed off when they realized there were no condiments or sauces either. This is not a way to run a business; we basically just got the tortilla and meat and one lime wedge to share with 8 people....  no sauce

I would not be back again. There are better places in Hawaii that won't rip you off and actually have what they advertise.

Side note: we saw a bag of limes in the back but he was unwilling to cut it for a long time. Also, they're right next to a supermarket so they could've went out to get more ingredients or just close early due to no inventory.

We were surprised to see this place! As Mexican-Americans we're always excited to find what appears to be authentic Mex food! Five stars for the tasty tacos!! Taste authentic and full of flavor!! The horchata and Jugo de Piña were really good too...taste fresh! It's a small spot, outdoors, in front of church...they were having church while we ate lol  but so good!! We ordered twice! Shrimp had a little kick to it but  Asada was a little plain...highly recommend the fish/shrimp! We all were very satisfied!

Not sure why anyone would  give this one star and say the food is flavorless!!  Ignore the 1 stars. Ignore the CA Food Trucks are better BS or how a taco at $4 is expensive. Also ignore the people who show up at the end of the day and expect the stand to be fully stocked!  It is not a restaurant! Get over your CA is better mindset. You are on an island enjoying local fare.  Chillax!!

Some of the best Mexican Food we've had in a month time.  We are CA/AZ natives SO....we know of what we speak.

We ordered 4 tacos, rice and beans, and 2 diet sodas for under $20.  I couldn't finish my second taco! Fresh, very flavorful.  The Carne Asada was tender and the carnitas was cooked to perfection.
The salsas were good. Red sauce was hot but very flavorful. Salsa verde was a bit too mild for me.  The avocado salsa was perfect.
